Lahi = race.

Do you use the dictionary here? It’s pretty helpful. It even has 7 example sentences for “lahi”:

Lahi is not always race. It can mean lineage, pedigree, ancestry. I think lineage, pedi and ancestry is more accurate because "race" is largely a western concept

"Hindi tama ang mga salita ng gobernment kasi malaking "lahi" ito"

"Kung kailan nagsasabi si Pinoccio ng mga lahi humahaba ang ilong niya".

You're using "lahi" as a synonym with "lie" here? What's your source for that, because I've never heard it used that way...it also doesn't show up as an option in the Leo dictionary or the UP dictionary...??

Kasinungalingan is the correct word I think. It's a difficult word to say. Takes practice.

But "lahi" sounds like "lie".

I'm just causing a stir. I'm just being silly.

What exactly is our source in Tagalog.com and the copyright...if yours I would appreciate being able to cite you all for your great work and intellectual property...if Padre LEO...UP or Google...shouldn't I be able to site them similarly?
