kainan - you may want to add "restaurant" as one of it's meanings

@leosmith

They are all there, make sure you search the dictionary manually and don't link by google.

kainán
[noun] eatery; place to eat; small restaurant; dining room

@leosmith
kalapad is a variation of "malapad"...as in the transformation adjectives make after words like "gaano".
It's listed as a variation in the database already under malapad.

In the sentence:
Parang di ko ata kaya na araw-araw ganyan a.
I don't know what "ata" or "a" mean, but I hear/see them fairly often.

@leosmith ata is just the colloquial form of yata which TLDC has here

> yatà: [enclitic] I think (but not certain); I'm not sure; apparently; seems like; it seems; maybe

How about that "a" - seems to be chiming in like "right?" or "ya know", but I wonder if it's short for something? I was expecting "no" there.

I keep on seeing these e's all over the place. For example, in this sentence:
Suki ka pala ng bus e!
Should that be
Suki ka pala ng bus ay!
(I'm bad at ay sentences, haha)

@leosmith
e / eh doesn't have anything to do with the word "ay"...

Both ah and eh are kind of oral tics...usually used to prompt a reply from the person you're speaking to...similar to English's "huh"...

"Nice day out today, huh?" - "Yeah, beautiful weather..."
