I am studying the Filipino language because....
in the very beginning,
a "very popular murder-case"in the Philippines, on you tube. A detail made I started to look, and immediately I noticed the story was biased... I looked with more attention, as it was linked to abuse of children by greed of their family and how it made those children to be the victim of , often western, child abusers. I aml absolutely sure that, in this case, the Court made an error. I thought maybe I can help the victim ... and it could be necessary to learn the main language of the country, to not act as a colonial arrogant "master"...
And so I began to discover a few more about the Philippines, its history..., and, rather strange seen its geographical position, how it became a very rich "melting pot"of civilisations... And since VERY long time...again, and again...
Not only , concerning the murder-case, where I am sure the Court made an error, I still will trie to obtain modification of the whole story...
( Evelyne Bohol y Talaogan - Davis CAN NOT be guilty of the murder of the "industrial
international pimp of teenagers" Steven Davis... But it is allso a terrible story ... How to
believe that a child of 13 can decide to leave a little village in a remote Island - Daram
- to migrate , alone, 700 km far to Angeles, to go to "work" in a girls bar, to marry a
rich american, and that , as she needed papers to show older, even has stolen the
papers of her sister... and, 4 years later frauded again by herself a birthcertificate of
that sister to marry an English in Hong Kong...? I am not stupid enough to believe this
nonsense....
Knowing she had an aunt in Angeles...
This is a terrible story of abusif parents, children prostitution, but , worse...and better
allso : the "network" of Steven Davis , after his dead, was closed : Jade Cool, Jade
Cool Entertainment, Jade Cool Software Corporation and Cyber Sisters were closed,
and a hundred under-aged girls put free. Strange that this "happy end" had not been
joined in the case Evelyn Bohol/Steven Davis....
I have been confronted by other cases of abuse of children in fragile situation '
refugee-camps etc...Most often by westerners..." humanitarian"...? Attention ! )
So, in fact " by hasard" , I started to know more about the Philippines. ...I knew a very few about the Phlippines, but , I am not stonished, once again , how western arrogance and neocolonial contempt does even hide a very old and complex "game of interacting civilisations"... The same happens everywhere.....
It is absolutely interesting... Once I know Tagalog, maybe I will voyage, to trie to learn the old alphabets and old languages, as languages conserve a lot of history... I did discover it in Africa, among the Marroons of French Guyana in South America... And i think it will be very interesting to look that , at least in Europe, unknown legacy of the Philippines... The few I learned is already amazing..... I hope there are still enough old texts that are conserved and "rewritten" ( same sound, with translation), because I am anyhow to old to have time do to it myselve...
Other detail : I have been living 27 years in French Guyana, and was a little farmer...able to produce several crops without need of any kind of poison... And I knew Indonesia and the Philippines have an interesting , old , very old , tradition in agroforestal techniques...Very interesting too...
