@jkos And I'm very grateful that there are beginner words, 'cause I am a *complete* beginner learner of Tagalog. However, as a high intermediate/advanced Spanish learner I understand the frustraton of advanced learners, because it seems like there is less instructional material at that level. It feels like advanced Spanish learners are expected to keep growing just by reading articles and books, listening to podcasts and radio, and watching movies and telenovelas that are made for the general population. It feels like advanced learners are supposed to learn nuances of the language through sheer exposure.But I'm super-pleased there is basic Tagalog WOTD here 'cause that's what I need.
